In this way, NASA innovations with commercial potential are assimilated into the private sector where they spur the creation of new markets, new products, and new jobs that both serve the economy and enhance the quality of life on Earth.

Matt Jurjevich, Director, Business Development – Canada, BYD Company Ltd.

Matt played a visible role in the delivery of fully-electric buses to municipalities in California. BYD is the world’s largest electrified vehicle manufacturer in both consumer electric and commercial/industrial vehicles. Recently, BYD announced its partnership with the Province of Alberta to develop smarter, safer transit buses with advanced zero-emissions transportation technology.
