ACAMP Seminar Series: Unmanned Vehicles – Mar 11, 2014

Posted on March 11, 2014

The Unmanned Vehicle Industry is a rapidly growing industry not only in Alberta but all over the world. Innovative solutions are being developed on a daily basis. These solutions are making data capture safer, higher quality and offer significant cost savings.

Speakers at the ACAMP Seminar on Unmanned Vehicles are encouraged to submit original research articles or review articles to the Journal of Unmanned Vehicle Systems, the new official journal of Unmanned Systems Canada. The journal covers developments in the rapidly emerging international field of unmanned vehicle systems (remotely controlled vehicular machines used for aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic systems) and their sensors. For information on the types of research published in the journal and to read the instructions to authors, please visit http://www.nrcresearchpress.com/page/juvs/authors. All submissions will be peer reviewed by the journal’s editorial board. For more general information about the journal, visit http://www.nrcresearchpress.com/page/juvs/editors.

The Journal of Unmanned Vehicle Systems was established in spring 2013 and is the official journal of Unmanned Systems Canada. This quarterly, electronic-only journal features editorials, articles, notes, and letters related to developments in the rapidly emerging international field of unmanned vehicle systems (remotely controlled machines used for aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic systems) and their sensors. The journal is broadly themed into four main areas of applications of practical and academic interest: civil, environmental, military, and engineering technology. Its objective is to provide an accessible, consolidated forum where peer-reviewed scientific knowledge on the design, development, testing, and applications of unmanned vehicle systems in the air, on and under the water, and on land is published and disseminated. Submissions are welcomed from researchers and practitioners in academia, government, and industry from all over the world.
